Folger copy lacks first gathering of 4 leaves with Rafaello Regio's letter; fore-edge damaged by mold, heavily repaired, affecting illuminated border and manuscript notes in margin; text of last leaf, cut off and pasted on an inserted blank leaf.
First initial and floral border painted in gold and colors on leaf a1r with 2 coat of arms in lower border element, unidentified; first initial of commentary provided in red paint.
Manuscript notes in brown ink, with manicules, underlining, and several styles of brackets; book and chapter numbers handwritten in headlines in parts of the book.
Ownership inscription above colophon "Felicis caoni"; inscription on verso of last leaf "Amber[? or Cimber?] Lanzichinecchj. Ille doctus est [...]"; inscription on front flyleaf in brown ink "dorysio[?]"; evidence of pasting on front pastedown (possibly from a removed bookplate).
