Edges cropped, affecting manuscript notes; leaf Q4 (propably from another copy) with a few wormholes. Extensive manuscript notes in several hands in text and commentary, in brown and red inks; notes in red paint with some rubrication in parts of the book, mostly capital strokes and underlining; corrections and additions in text; addition of a line of text on leaves C6v and C7r in brown ink; in several scenes of Act III of Andriae, replicas are numbered in text and translated into English in the margins (early handwriting); a later note on leaf e4r refers to J. Lipsius' De Cruce and 1662 ed. of a work by J. Praetorius; leaves 5-205 numbered by hand "1-200"; beginning of a manuscript index on last leaf in same hand; a few woodcuts partially handcolored. In a recent morocco binding. Early ownership inscriptions on title page, damaged, only partially deciphered "Caspar [...?]" and "M. Joannes [...?] possidet [...]"; later inscription on verso of last leaf, partially undeciphered "[...?] Johan Bökman [...?] in Celle"; inscription in brown ink, defaced, partially illegible and a name "S. Tudor" stamped in black ink on leaf Q4r; inscription in red on t.p. verso "Cecil Deedes 1860"; purchased in 1962.
