Lacks leaves a1 with preface (description from BM 15th cent. copy and Hain), and a8. Manuscript finding notes, drawings, and manicules in brown ink, with partial rubrication of the text (titles, capital strokes and a few paragraph marks) in same ink; leaves a2-e8 numbered by hand "78-15 [i.e. 115]" (number "90" repeated, and leaf a8, now lacking, included in numbering). In a case binding with printed paste paper cover. Autograph of H.C. Hoskier on front free endpaper with his date "Jan 1903" and his bibliographic notes (no. 85 in the Sotheby sale catalog of his library, June 1908); bookplate of W.T. Smedley; purchased in 1924.
