Folger-specific note
Lacks leaves a1 (blank), n2, n7, and T8 (register); margins trimmed, affecting manuscript notes; worming in the 1st and last gatherings, affecting text in tables. Initials, paragraph marks and capital strokes in red throughout. Manuscript finding notes in brown ink (one of them underlining the invention of printing on leaf 341), and manuscript additions in indexes; small later manuscript fragment bearing name "P. Venerante[?]", loosely inserted in book, now kept in a mylar in the book. Purchased in 1916.
