Capitals provided in red throughout the book. A few manicules and manuscript notes in brown ink, several of them on leaves f3-f4; a few corrections in text and of errors in headings; also an early note (or quote?) on front pastedown followed by "AP"; references (or shelfmarks?) handwritten on front endpaper one reading "7 Ss d.", the other "R[?] 8 Ss d". Original Augsburg sheepskin binding on wooden boards, blind tooled, (Kyriss 77; Schwenke-Schunke "Blattwerk 452"); 5 bosses (only 3 remain on each cover); remains of 2 clasps catching on front cover; early label at head of front cover reading "Ropert[us] Holcot sup[er] lib[er] sapiẽ."; fragment of an early paper label on spine reading "VII [...?]9:" (other inscriptions have been covered by more recent labels). Purchased in 1958.
