Manuscript notes in red and brown inks with some underlining, and a few paragraph marks, ending in gathering l; a few initials, and corrections in text in same inks. Fore-edge inscription, incomplete, reading from front to back cover "archij Philo Laet. Dioge"; repaired. Bookplates of Charles Butler (no. 379 in the Sotheby sale catalog of his library, April 1911) and of W.T. Smedley; purchased in 1924.
