A few early manuscript finding notes, manicules and brackets in the 1st book in brown ink, with corrections and addition of some punctuation in text; some more corrections in text at end of the book spelled out in margins, in a different hand; manuscript numbering of leaves (with addition of corrections in numbering on misbound leaves). Rebound. Early ownership inscription at foot of recto of 1st leaf, reading "di Lionardo d[e] lorenzo more[]lj [...?]", almost certainly Florentine silk merchant Leonardo di Lorenzo Morelli; bookplate of W.T. Smedley; purchased in 1924.
