Rubrication of capitals in red paint (some blue on leaf [*]1r) and underlining of 1st words of headings, paragraph titles and each sentence (ending on leaf [b]4r); also paragraph marks in table of contents. Manuscript letter and text of law on last leaf from a monastery, dated "Dat[um] Decĩa [?] die Aprilis anno [...?] j."; also a note on a medical cure; inscription on leaf [*]2r "Dom[us] Professae Societ̃is Iesu Viennae catalogo inscript[us] in litera B.n.3.31 [crossed out and changed to] M272"; several other inscriptions in German and Latin on first leaf; inscription on front free endpaper "W.G. Thorpe from N T Janry 16th. 1871"; inscriptions on both pastedowns : "... Verplanck Colvin is the present owner at ... Albany, New York ..." Leather finding tab at beginning of each book, the last one lacking; vellum guards around the sewing inside of each gathering; inscription on top edge "Bartholome[us] de p[ro]prietatib[us] rerum", reading from spine to fore-edge. Purchased in 1926 according to Mrs. Folger's files.
