Rubrication of printed paragraph marks, and capital strokes from leaf a5r through leaf l4r; also strokes on 1st line of each sermon. A few early manuscript notes and manicules in text and on front flyleaf; error in numbering of leaves has been corrected by hand on leaf 177. Circular bookstamp "Museo Cavaleri" on title page; purchased in 1915. Contemporary quarter sheepskin binding on wooden boards of red oak, blind tooled, with star and flower stamps and star nails; remains of 2 triangular clasps in Italian (Padua or Venice) style mounted on fore-edge of back cover, and evidence of 2 others (on head and tail); manuscript fragments used as guards; evidence of an early inscription on upper cover; several later spine labels and a shelfmark on tail of spine reading "7", handwritten in black; upper spine label reads "202"; repaired; in a tailored box.
