The final volume, dated 1813, is an index entitled 'General indexes, in Latin and English, of the subjects contained in the twenty-four volumes of The naturalist's miscellany; ... London: printed for, and published by, Elizabeth Nodder & Son; by B. McMillan'.

Reprints of vols. 1-3 known and recognised as thus: vol. 1, first descriptive page (for Psittacus porphyrocephalus) has last line beginning "provectiori"; reprint has "niori". Vol. 2, first descriptive page (for Mus saliens) has catchword "pilis"; reprint has "valde". Vol. 3 has reprinted titlepages (Latin and English) but not reprinted parts; the reprinted titlepages are identified by (in the English title) "The naturalist's miscellany" as one line while the original English titlepage has "naturalist's miscellany". MRu reports w/m in vol. 24 =24
