The articles of the Third Society, of Her Majesty's Office of Assurance, for the Support of Widows and Orphans [electronic resource] : By raising money upon marriages and births: begun at Dublin the 25th of March, 1711: which is the only office of assurance in this kingdom set up by authority, or managed by persons of quality and station, in conjunction with the master and deputy: printed now according to the late regulations and improvements made at several courts held for the said society, viz. In February, March, and April: by order of court: and recommended by the managers, page 2. Four Hundred and Seventy Seven Pounds were, on the 24th of March last, paid in for this society. Attendance is daily given at the office (kept at Mr. Shadwell's house, near the end of William-street, joyning to Chequer-Lane) from ten in the morning to one, and from three in the afternoon to six (Sundays and holy-days excepted) where the articles may be had gratis, and any difficulties explained, or doubts removed.-and the printed lists of the honourable the trustees directors, managers and members of the several societies; and the printed advertisements shewing the uses of the said societies, and of this in particular, may be seen by any one that desires it.
