ESTC staff note
'The true presbyterian without disguise' was apparently first printed as Denham's in 1680. Foxon states that Denham's authorship of this work is "generally considered to be a fiction" (D216.5). 'Presbytery dissected' is actually a prose piece, probably originating in Ireland. A piece of verse, "O Hibernia! they're not open foes", which is not in Foxon, is quoted on p.7, and the general thrust of the text seems to be directed towards an Irish readership
