ESTC staff note
E suggest [Scotland, 1730]. Without additional evidence, it is impossible to provide a more precise date. There was at least one other disputed call to Kinross following Robert M'Gill's death sometime before June 1727, that of Ebenezer Erskine, in February 1728. Thus, Mr. Craig's call could have occurred at any time between June 1727 and 1732 (FES)
