This record was provided by a vendor. It may contain incorrect or incomplete information.
With a half-title and 41 final leaves of author's note to the reader, indexes, addendum, errata, and advertisements.
The "Directions to the bookbinder" at the end state that if the work be bound in 2 vols., the "Eight dissertations" (pp.i-clii) should be bound at the beginning of vol.2, ie. between pp. 688 and 689.
Bowyer's records show 250 copies printed on Genoa demy, 500 copies on Holland demy, and 250 copies on Holland crown; the initial sheets were printed with each paper having the same number of copies, so 27 sheets had to be reprinted, presumably to raise the number of copies on Holland demy.
