ESTC staff note
The L copy was interleaved with blotting paper - other copies also interleaved?. As the L copy has several MS. "permissions" from overseers, etc. to allow the assessment and the collection of the monies, all dated between April and Sept. 1799, the survey was printed between 1795 and 1799, hence tentative dating.
