Interest in all its Cases, both Simple and Compound; with Constructions upon the Rules of Rebate or Discount: Likewise several new Methods adapted to the Valuing of Leases or Annuities on Lives. III. The Extraction and Uses of the Square and Cube Roots, particularly a new, short, and easy Method of Extracting the Cube Root. IV. Duodecimals, or Cross-Multiplication, by an easier Method than hitherto practised. V. Mensuration of all Kinds of Superficies and Solids, with practical Errors pointed out; together with the Art of Gaging, and some improv'd Methods in Surveying of Land: Also the various Uses of Specific Gravity. And to accommodate the above work, is added, VI. An introduction to practical music; together with the Construction of Organ Pipes, Spinets, &c. The Whole rendered familiar to the meanest Capacity.
