There exist two issues of Macbeth published by Mathews and Leigh in 1807 which can be distinguished by format: this issue is a quarto with gatherings signed in 4's, and the leaves measure approximately 21 cm high and 12 cm wide. The other issue is a folio signed in 2's, and the leaves measure approximately 24 cm high and 21 cm wide.
Signatures: A1 B-2G⁴ 2H⁴ (-2H4).
