Most of this volume is filled by the 'Masques' and 'Entertainments', first printed in the two folios of 1616 and 1640. The former included the early entertainments of James the First's reign from 1603 to 1607 and the court masques from 1605 to 1616, beginning with 'The Masque of Blackness' and ending with 'The Golden Age Restored'.
