The elegies are signed: Fr. Beau: (Francis Beaumont) M. Dr. (Michael Drayton) and M.H. (conjectured on apparently little evidence to be Nathaniel Hookes: British Museum Catalogue, Edwards facs., XV, pt. 3, col. 185 ; XXV, pt. 4, col. 230. But see D.N.B., 2nd ed. IX, 1193). The satires and the third book, "Notes from Black-Fryers," are by Henry Fitzgeffrey.
