In reply to John Rider's "A friendly caueat to Irelands Catholickes" and his "Rescript". The text of both tracts is included in the present work, each paragraph followed by Fitzsimon's answer.
Original title page reads: A Catholike confutation of M. Iohn Riders claymeof antiquitie; and a caulming comfort against his caueat. In which is demonstrated, by assurances, euen of Protestants, that al antiquitie, for alpointes of religion in controuersie, is repugnant to Protestancie. Secondly, that Protestancie is repugnant particularlie to al articles of beleefe. Thirdly, that Puritan plots are pernitious to religion, and state. Andlastly, a replye to M. Riders Rescript; with a disouerie of Puritan partialitie in his behalfe. By Henry Fitzsimon ... Printed at Roan ..., 1608.
Divided into 2 pts. Pt. 2 has special title page: A replie to M. Riders Rescript. And a discouerie of Puritan partialitie in his behalfe. Together with a briefe narration why this author him selfe, renounced Protestantcie... And finallie; a friendlie aduertisement to M. Iohn Rider him selfe. At Roan, 1608.
