Summary
Has been prevented from calling on him by an engagement with an artist who is preparing drawings of The merry wives of Windsor for his pictorial edition of Shakespeare. Hopes Ayrton did not mind being mentioned in the introduction to his First Folio edition. Asks for his notes on the two songs mentioned in the play: Greensleeves and Come live with me and be my love, for which he found dates in Percy's Reliques.
