From dealer's description: "[Nihon Seinenkan Hall: Today's Program for Much Ado About Nothing] Tsubouchi, Shōyō [translation by]; Shakespeare, William [original work by]. [Tōkyō]: Nihon Seinenkan Hall, [ca. early Shōwa period]. A programme for a performance of Much Ado About Nothing organised by the Sixth Prefectural High School for Girls and supported by the Chikyu-za ("The Globe Theatre", (Tokyo)). The performance was held at 6pm on October 17th, probably in the 1930-40s. An insert gives the score and lyrics for an accompaniment composed by Nishiyama Tadayuki (using Tsubouchi's translation). A synopsis is also included. Two folded leaves (including wrappers) and one loose insert, complete. Original paper wrappers, light marks and wear. 23 x 15.6 cm. Text in Japanese."
