Knew that Mr. Garfield would please Wodehouse as he is energetic, high-minded, good-tempered and was a great favorite at Edinburgh. He knows few men whom he would rather have as (his) own curate. Understands peculiar circumstances of Odiham [?] but assures him that Dangerfield [?] will not make quarrels.
