The "two pamphlets" mentioned in title would seem to have been ms. letters from Clement Nedham and Creswel Whately. For the former, see J. Smith, "Anti-Quakeriana", p. 334, which gives title "A sober disquisition of the people's right to tythes", 1672; for the latter there is an entry on p. 448 which gives no works. Also no book has been discovered by William Gibson in answer to "Christ's call to professors", nor is that title listed in Wing.
"Tythes no Gospel-ordinance" by G.W. [i.e. George Watt], has separate dated title page on p. [31]; register is continuous. "Tythes ended by Christ with the Levitical priesthood" by William Gibson has separate dated t.p. and begins new pagination on F4r; register is continuous.
Item at B12:2[8] imperfect: part two bound before part one.
Reproduction of original in the British Library.
