Horton was the original publisher of The faithful post (G. Horton : March 1653) with a Friday to Friday coverage period. When Eels took over the publishing responsibilities of the Friday to Friday Faithful post with issue 135 (27 May-3 June 1653), Horton began simultaneously to publish The faithful post (G. Horton : June 1653) beginning with issue 116 (7-14 June 1653) with a Tuesday to Tuesday coverage period.
