Summary
Kelfe cannot scold in French; asks what the reason is for Macklin's not answering her last two letters. Expresses her disappointment in hearing that Macklin has been flirting at the Jubilee. Mentions seeing Voltaire; says it is "agreable [sic] going out hunting with the King and Dutchess de Savoye and dining with embassadors [sic]." Year of letter added in pencil. Addressed to Macklin at James Street, Covent Garden, London.
