T.M. = Thomas More, the saint's grandson; but in fact by Cresacre More.
A reissue of STC 18066, with quire [cross] cancelled by a new title page with ornament of three putti around a column, signed: F: Hoffman.
STC 18066 gives two types of reissue: (1) post-1640?: dedication begins on [par.]3r; (2) 1642: dedication absent. Wing M2630 is one of the latter, but that title page has "Moore, who was Lord Chancelor" and imprint "Printed for N.V., 1642". The present item also lacks dedication but has no imprint; as such, not in either STC or Wing.
Identified as STC 18066a on film.
Reproduction of the original in the Folger Shakespeare Library.
