[103]-128) formerly attributed to François Rabelais, but now generally considered one of the early versions, of unknown authorship, of the Gargantua tales of folk-lore. cf. Plattard, Jean. L'oeuvre de Rabelais, 1910, p. 11-13 and Boulenger, J. R. Rabelais à travers les âges, 1925, p. 169.
