In full leather (sheep?) inboard binding, rebacked, with burgundy spine label gold-tooled text on spine; raised bands on spine; top, tail, and fore-edge stained red. Trimmed into headlines. Ownership inscriptions and markings in ink : "Char[?]", "M E Parker", "MRP", "John Congreve" and "Thomas Parker" on title page recto ; "Thomas Parker his booke" with a line of illegible text following and "William Parker his book 1706" on title page verso ; "Thomas Parker" on verso of 2N8. Ink stain on leaf A8. Hole in leaf B1 with loss of manuscript note in ink on recto and small loss of printed text on verso. Other minor manuscript markings in ink (including on verso of E12, recto of Z7, recto of Z8, and recto and verso of 2N8). Acquired from Maggs (Cat.891:399), 1964-05-11.
