From dealer's description: "270• BINDINGS DORRINGTON (THEOPHILUS) A Familiar Guide to the Right and Profitable Receiving of the Lords Supper, fifth edition, hole to title resulting in loss of imprint date, APPROXIMATELY 50 PAGES OF MANUSCRIPT PRAYERS in ?2 early eighteenth century hands (one leaf dated 1707) on blank leaves bound at beginning, middle and end, contemporary black morocco gilt, sides elaborately tooled with cottage-roof design, extremities of spine slightly chipped, gilt patterned endpapers [ESTC R9729, citing Bodleian and Canterbury Cathedral copies only], Brab.
