Collation: Leaves i + 213 (leaves numbered 2-212; unnumbered leaf between leaves 124 and 125); 1^12, 2^16, 3^16(-3), 4^16, 5^16(-1), 6-10^16, 10^16, 11^16(+1), 12^6, 13^10(-1), 14^16, 15^14(-1); stubs between leaves 39 and 40, 71 and 72, 212 and 213; leaves 176 and 184 cut affecting text; horizontal catchwords at end of each quire; very few annotations and one manicule (leaf 196v). Layout: Written in 18-21 long lines (dimensions of written space: 90 x 58 mm); below line; frame-ruled; prickings in outer margin; headings on top of each page; pen flourishes of letters on last line of page. Script: Written in Anglicana script. Decoration: Simple blue, red and gold borders on leave 2-12v. Decoration: Gold initials with red and blue ink flourishes on leaves 14r, 31v, 54r, 59r, 86v, 144r, 152r, 161v, 166v, 185r, and 186v. Decoration: Pen flourished initials in red and blue ink throughout. Decoration: Red and blue initials and highlights throughout. Origin: Written in English in beginning of 14th century.
