"Statutory declaration made before a commissioner for oaths - Guarantee: I ... of 1-5 Poland street London West in the county of Middlesex do solemnly and sincerely declare that only sixty copies of the Chiswick Shakespeare for England and America have been signed by the editor, illustrator, printer, publisher, and myself and bound in this style and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the provision of the statutory declarations act 1835."--following title page
