Oval portrait in decorative frame; half length slightly to viewer's right; bearded, wearing cap, ruff, rochet and stole, and holding a book in his right hand. In frame above, coat of arms; below, 3 Latin elegiac couplets beginning "Cum vultus Helenae pictor deseriberet, unam."
