A re-issue with the same setting of type of the Davidson issue of Cumberland, by Samuel French. Imprint on printed wrapper: New York : Samuel French & Son, Publishers, 38 E. 14th St., Union Square ; London : Samuel French, 89 Strand. There are slight changes in the title wording between this and the original Cumberland issue, including "entrances and exits" instead of "exits and entrances," and giving "Mr. Ramberg" responsibility for the drawing. French was at this address between 1878 and 1887 (Shakespeare variorum handbook, web publication 2003, p. 184).

"D-G" is George Daniel; his "remarks": p. [5]-7.

Printer's name from colophon; "London" appears after "Strand."

The name of the play is left blank on the printed wrapper, to be written in by hand.

Series from head of outside printed wrapper; number from series list on inside wrapper. Price on wrapper: "15 cts." Series title list extends through v. 62 and number 558.

Includes a cast list from the 1824 Drury Lane production with Mr. Macready as the Duke and Mrs. Bunn as Isabella, and a descriptive costume list.

Signatures: A⁸ (A3+1?) B-E⁶. The structure of the first gathering is unclear, with irregular signing.
