Fragment of envelope addressed from Wilkie Collins to Winter tipped in after p. 216. Material previously laid in removed to manuscript collection and cataloged separately: letters to Winter from E.C. Stedman, A.V.S. Anthony, Charles Gardette, Ada Rehan, Arthur Sketchley, Elizabeth Stoddard, G.W. Curtis, and R.H. Stoddard as well as a photograph of Winter and loose manuscript notes. Owned by Mr. and Mrs. Folger.
