A travel poem describing a holiday tour of four Oxford men to Newark and back to Oxford. Marginal notes in the same hand signal names of people and places mentioned in the text. Pencil sketches on leaves 100r, 101r-v, and 103v.

The section on Bosworth field includes a reference to Richard Burbage in the role of Richard III ("For when hee would have said King Richard di'd / And cal'd a horse a horse hee Burbage cri'd" (leaf 97v))

First published posthumously in Corbet's Certain elegant poems, 1647 (Wing C6269C)

Bound with 16 other manuscript works in the 18th century; repaired and separated into 15 booklets, some with multiple works, in 1993 (J.a.1 (1-15)). Modern pencil foliation added before separation: 93-104.
