This is the 1805 small paper issue in nine volumes, issued without the Fuseli engravings. A large paper issue from 1805 exists in ten volumes with the engravings. The nine volume, small paper issue was re-issued in 1812 bearing volume title pages reflecting the inclusion of the engravings and with the 1805 imprint, and paper spine labels dated 1812.
