An illustrated broadside commenting on the Old Price Riots of 1809. John Bull, holding a bugle and a rattle, is forced down to sit on a box inscribed "Old Prices" as his head is pushed down by James Brandon, who strides on stage from viewer's right. To left, John Philip Kemble waves a print with an image of Covent Garden Theatre entitled "The House that Jack Built" in his left hand over Bull's head, while dangling a cat (a reference to Angelica Catalani) by its tail in his right hand. In the lower left corner, a stack of progressively smaller boxes labeled "Private Boxes," "Pigeon holes," and "New prices." With letterpress poem (24 stanzas of 4 lines each) below.
