Folger-specific note
Folger bookplate: Gift of Jackie and Peter Wight. Includes letters from 1940 and from 1969 detailing the history of this copy. The 1940 letter is from Montague Barlow, presenting the copy to Margaret Morrison Kay, wife of Sir John Muir, of Blair Drummond Castle. The 1969 letter has "Stancioff" on the letterhead; signed M and addressed to Helen, it refers to Ivan, perhaps M's husband, which would make M Marion Mitchell Stanchov.
