Scope and content
Discusses non-production of Marston's play on the history of Montezuma. Kean accuses Marston of being the one "who first struck the wrong key-note which produced the discord" but gives his "warm sanction" to proposed negotiations for transferring the play. Also refuses further negotiations regarding The electric telegraph until the Montezuma affair is resolved.
