Summary
Requests Mr. Rose's patience in Maria Gibbs' payment of a debt, explaining that "The impunctuality of her Winter Managers & the inability of her summer one (added to several of her late theatrical disappointments) have occasion'd some difficulties to her on the subject of Finance." Incorporates quotes from As you like it and Henry V: "The summer, to be sure, is 'a South Sea off discovery;' -- but if you can, with any convenience, afford to extend your patience till that period, I will, by any mode you please, undertake to see the 'Noble in cash most justly paid.'"
