Artist: Coloring is vaguely similar to another anonymous work in the same set of volumes and may have been done by the same artist (Vol. 9, after p. 392 - illustration to Hamlet).
History: Unable to find an engraving of the drawing in the Folger collection.
Provenance: Item is inlaid before p. 377 of printed text in volume 5 of a 21 volume extra illustrated copy of the 1857 edition of Shakespeare's Works, edited by Dyce and formerly owned by Robert Hoe. For complete provenance see entry for "Harding, Silvester. Dr. Farmer."

Subject: Drawing depicts the wedding of Audrey and Touchstone by Sir Oliver Martex with Jacques as witness from act III, sc. 3 of As you like it. Touchstone and Audrey are to the right of the drawing.
