Subject: Drawing depicts a wooded area with a street running behind it and hills in the background. Also in the background, at right, on top of a hill, is the view of a small village. A man and a woman are shown in the foreground seated under a tree. Another man is depicted, herding sheep down the street. And a woman can be seen, walking along the street with a basket on her head. There is no indication as to the place that is being illustrated.
