Design for title page is included along with designs for the following page headings: General Committee, Trial by Jury, Much Ado, Minstrel Entertaintment, etc. Most of the designs bear Crane's mark (a C encircling a crane flanked by the halves of a W) and penciled in the corners of several is a note reading 'Return to Walter Crane 13 Holland St. Kensington W.' in Crane's hand. Items vary in size.

History: The designs were executed for a program which was printed and published by J. Miles and Co., copyright 1906. The tribute was held at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane with Terry playing the part of Beatrice in the 1st act of Much Ado, with set designs by her son Gordon Craig and 23 members of her family playing parts in the jubilee performance.

Provenance: Designs are tipped into the printed edition of the program, facing their respective reproductions. The program bears the bookplate of Walter Crane and was purchased by the Folgers from a Maggs Bros. sale of association books in 1921 (Maggs cat. no. 406, item 121).
