Bifolium. Title from docket. In margin of leaf 1, "Cripplegate & Southwarke Children are task'd weekly." Stamped "Clayton Mss" on final leaf. This manuscript was apparently submitted to Sir Robert Clayton, probably when Clayton supported his friend Thomas Firmin's workhouse school in Little Britain Street, or possibly three or four years later, when Clayton was Lord Mayor (1679-1680).
