A woman wearing a laurel wreath (peace) is seated, holding an olive branch and a cornucopia. To her left on the ground is a pile of various artistic and scientific tools - a globe, a compass, a stringed instrument, a palette and engraver's burins. To her right is a smaller female figure (wealth), finely dressed, holding a trinket in one hand and several sacks in the other. In the background is a bustling town, in which a crowd of people are gathered around a platform or stage.
