Summary
Many people on foot and on horseback create a long winding papal procession from a triumphal arch labeled "L'Arco dei Fiorentini in Banchi" to the Basilica of St. John Lateran in Rome, also passing through the "Arco di Campidoglio" on the way. Various members of the procession are labeled with their title or profession. At the top of the procession are medallion portraits of Leo X, Pius IV, Clement VII, and Leo XI, linked by branches, with Leo XI's arms in the center.
