Summary
Jiménez de Cisneros stands, wearing the outfit of a Franciscan friar, holding a scepter in one hand and a crucifix in the other. On the wall behind his head hangs his coat of arms. To his left a small group of people is kneeling with hands clasped, mostly adults but at the forefront a small child. Above them is an open window which shows a walled city and a battle being fought in the distance.
