Attribution uncertain. William Fox Legget was an actor whose "histrionic appearance [was] so strikingly similar to that of the noted tragedian Edwin Booth, that he was familiarly called Edwin Booth Leggett" Donaldson, A.L. A history of the Adirondacks, p. 378.
