Illuminated with the Taylor family coat of arms as it evolved through the family tree, also with a knight with banner, shield and armor sporting a boar's head.
Caption at top of roll: The Delineation and Discourse of the propagation and Pedigree of the Ancient and Worthy Family of the Taylors of Shadoxherst in the County of Kent, whereof S[i]r Thomas Taylor of Maydstone in the sayd County Baronet is the onely heire male that is remaining of this Family in England at this day 1665.
